As everyone says, Micromax was silent for so long time that the existing use thought the company has been shut down. But some source say that Micromax was making its revenue on repairing their existing smartphones. That’s a whole different story. Now Micromax finally broke silence and announced 2 new budget smartphone which might capture the market again, like it did few years ago.
The Indian originated company Micromax announced 2 new smartphones called Micromax Infinity N11 and Micromax Infinity N12.
Both these smartphone have same processor which is Mediatek Helio P22 SoC which is a mid-range processor and also, it is been considered as the direct competitor for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 processor. The MediaTek Helio P22 is 12 nm processor with 8 cores which runs at 2 Ghz clock speed.
Both these devices have a round-edged plastic body with dual camera set-up on the back. These 2 smartphones pack 13+5 megapixel camera on the rear. N11 model has a standard 8 megapixel selfie camera on the front whereas N12 has a whopping 18 megapixel camera on the front. That’s a big difference right there.
The base model (N11) has got a 2 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage and the higher model (N12) has got 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. Both these models are compatible for an expandable storage upto 128GB.
The display is standard LCD display at a resolution of 720×1500 pixels. Both these phones have been notched at a screen-to-body ratio of 18:9:9. The size of the screen is 6.29 inch.
The MediaTek Helio P22 is configured with NeuroPilot AI technology which performs better at facial recognition and machine learning.
So what makes these smartphones worth buying?
Their price tag. Micromax Infinity N12 is priced at ₹9,999 and the base model Infinity N11 is priced at ₹8,999. The Micromax Infinity N12 comes at three different colours Blue Lagoon, Velvet Red, and Viola whereas N11 comes only in one colour which is matte black with a rubberised strip along the camera. This typically resembles Honor 8X.
Both these smartphone will go out for sale on December 25th this year on both online and offline stores.
