Samsung Galaxy Note 20

Despite the pandemic, the situation in the smartphone market seems to be just as all the smartphone manufacturers are still launching their phone online just like Samsung has now decided to launch its new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series smartphone online on August 5th.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series phone was welcomed pretty well during the release, just like that Samsung should have planned for the Note 10. There is no confirmed information about this phone yet, but many leaksters on Twitter have let out pretty much every detail about this phone.

We can expect 3 different variants on the Note 20 series as Galaxy Note 20, Note 20 Plus, and Note 20 Ultra just like the S20 series. So where do they differ from S20s?

Camera specs of Note 20 series:

Whenever a new is about to be launched, all expectations will be centered majorly on camera as that is what we care about the most. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus said to come with a 108MP main camera, and 12MP ultra-wide camera and a special 13MP periscope camera. What is this periscope camera does? It’s basically a zooming lens which is capable of 50x Digital Zoom and 5x Optical Zoom. This is lower than what S20 has but famous critics and even users think this much zoom will be optimal. And also there’s going to be new “Laser Focus Sensor” in the place of “Time-of-Flight” sensor which was in the S20 series.

Chipset and Specifications:

There are varied opinions about the chipset this phone would come with. Some are sure that this phone will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC for US variants and Samsung Exynos 990 SoC for global versions whereas some other people expect this phone to come out with Snapdragon 865 Plus SoC and Exynos 992 chipset for the US and Global versions respectively. Both of the Snapdragon and Exynos variants just the same except with minor performance-boosting capability.

Display

As usual, Samsung has decided to keep the design boxy with a centered punch-hole on a 6.87 inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. This would be the first Samsung Note series smartphone to have a variable refresh rate display.

There isn’t any information about the new features of the S-pen as the company has opted for this tradition to give some cool new features to every new generation since the launch of Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

Price:

There are no rigid details about the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 yet, but it is expected to be priced as usually Note series smartphones
