After a lot of hype, OnePlus 6T was released a day before yesterday. There was a special event held in India yesterday. Poco representatives were found around the venue of the event where they were giving away free calculators to the people who were about to attend the event. The calculator was given with note on it, “ DO THE MATH”. So what does it means?.

There was a tweet on the official Poco twitter handle with a video stating the same hashtag #DoTheMath

Seeing this tweet we can say that it’s purely done to mock the OnePlus 6T. The Xiaomi/Poco is damn sure that Poco F1 is better than the OnePlus 6T

So, is that true? Is Poco better than OnePlus 6T?

If you take price into consideration, it is. There are lot of good things with Poco which OnePlus also has, but, at a slightly higher price.

Let’s break them down.

Same Processor:

As Poco is mentioning in that video both the phones have same processor which is 2.8 GHz Octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630. After so many comparison it is clear that Poco’s UI is little faster than OnePlus 6. As Oneplus 6T is just released now, we can’t conclude which is faster than the other. Yet, Poco is very sure that OnePlus 6T is slower  Anyway as the Poco costs lesser than the OnePlus 6T, it is a wise choice to go with it.

Apart from this there are so many missing features in OnePlus 6T which Poco has.

Expandable Storage:

Xiaomi Poco F1 is compatible to toss in an extra micro SD card upto 256GB whereas OnePlus is NOT

Headphone Jack:

One of most disappointing thing about OnePlus 6 is that there is no headphone jack but Poco has that.

Liquid Cooling System:

Poco was so successful in very short period is just because of this one cool new feature. Even though Poco is just entering the smartphone industry, it has made a brilliant move by adding liquid cooling technology on their devices. But the OnePlus on the other hand just makes some product mix on their older devices and sell them at the same price. They only provide the essentials but no extra features.

Bigger Battery:

OnePlus, on the 6T launch event, said that they removed headphone jack just for giving more room to their new “bigger” battery, which is 3700mAh battery. We seriously don’t know how Poco managed to provide the real big 4000mAh battery still with the headphone jack on their device. Mysterious.

poco f1

Yep, Poco F1 too misses some features like glass-back, AMOLED display, Gorilla Glass 6 and In-display fingerprint scanner, but, Poco is better in performance wise at a relatively cheaper price. If we do the math as Poco suggests, the all-new OnePlus 6T base variant which is 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage costs ₹13,000 higher than the Poco F1 128GB variant. So based on price Poco F1 is the real winner.
