Realme X50M has been released in China today. This smartphone falls under the mid-range category yet can be on par with most of the upper mid-range (“flagship killer”) phones out there.
This has started being a trend in the smartphone industry lately, having 5G connection capability. So 5G is already a thing now even though India still hasn’t gone anywhere near accessing 5G network speeds as all the telecom companies in India are testing their facilities.
However, there is no confirmed information about this phone’s availability in India but, surely, companies like Oppo would never miss out on a huge market on launching such a good phone.
The spec sheet is what makes this phone so promising. Realme X50M is powered by Snapdragon 765G SoC. This is a 7nm processor which is what is so great about this processor. Most of the high graphic requirement games will run pretty smoothly on this phone because of this latest chipset. One of the other features of this processor is that it consumes less power and produces less heat. Realme X50M will handle intensive usage with ease for sure.
Another important eye-catching yet expected feature of this phone is the 6.5 inch 120Hz IPS LCD. It covers a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio of this phone.
It comes with dual punch hole cut-out on the front glass which contains a 16MP selfie shooter and 2MP depth sensor for capturing better portrait images. The rear side of this phone contains a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera (which has arguably become a common trend now), 8MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and another 2MP depth sensor lens. I would call this as a near-perfect quad-camera setup on a mid-range phone.
Realme X50M comes with a decent 4200mAh battery out of the box, which I can say would last for a day for sure. It also supports fast charging of up to 30W power input.
It has two variants which are 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. In Chinese price, the 6GB RAM variant costs CNY 1,999 which is somewhere around 21,000 rupees in India, and the 8GB RAM variant costs CNY 2,299 (Approx INR 25000).
This phone is expected to be sold from April 29th on two colors, Starry Blue and Galaxy White, in China.
