The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo has been trying new cool features on their flagship segment. They considerably provide better “extra” features compared to Samsung. Now they have come up with a new flagship smartphone called Vivo Nex 2 which has been loaded with lots of jaw-dropping technologies.
The Vivo Nex 2 is the successor of Vivo Nex S which was the first smartphone to have a pop-up front camera. After seeing the renders of the all-new Vivo Nex 2, it is clear that the company wants to release a perfect end-to-end display smartphone so bad. For that, they even decided to replace the front facing camera with a secondary display. Sounds weird, right?.
Yes, the Vivo Nex 2 is said to have a complete 99.86% screen-to-body ratio. This is the first phone to have a dual-display setup. The primary screen is a 6.59-inch display where the screen is a 5.5-inch display. The fingerprint scanner is embedded on the primary screen
Fun Fact: Vivo Nex 2 too will have sound casting technology just like its predecessor.
Apart from the dual display setup, the phone will have a triple camera setup (not sure about the lenses). Another interesting fact about the smartphone is that it will have 10GB RAM which is highest among the existing smartphone so far and also it will run on Android Pie out of the box.
The processor is same that of the Vivo Nex S which is Snapdragon 845.
So far as we have known it is not for users to use both the screens simultaneously but the secondary screen can be used better for taking selfies. For enabling the second screen we have to just swipe left as we do on Tinder but with three fingers.
This all-new Vivo Nex 2 will official announced on December 11th in Shanghai, China.
Stay tuned for more updates on this.
