The smartphone and technology giant Xiaomi has launched a massive 30,000 mAh power bank in its home market China. The new Xiaomi Powerbank is called Mi Power Bank 3 Quick Charge Edition. The Mi power bank has the capacity to charge small phones 10 times! Along with its tremendous capacity, the power bank also supports fast-charging in both ways. For preventing the power surge issues, Xiaomi has provided a special mode for charging smaller gadgets like Bluetooth headsets and fitness bands. Mi Powerbank can charge up to 3 devices at a time. The Mi power bank also has a low power mode that can be accessed by double-pressing the power button. This will enable smaller devices to get charged safely without any surges.
Coming to the aesthetics, Mi power bank has a polycarbonate chassis along with an anti-slip, scratch-resistant finish. The power bank weighs 657.9 grams with the dimensions being 160.5×96.5x44mm. Keeping in mind the massive battery size, the size of the Mi power bank 3 Quick Charge Edition is a little big in comparison with other power banks. It has a total of two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, and a Micro USB port as well. Both of the Type-A ports and one Type-C port support 18W fast-charging. One can charge the power bank by the USB Type-C port itself with 24W input. As per Xiaomi, the Mi power bank can be charged in approximately 7.5 hours using their 30-W proprietary charger.
Manufacturer Xiaomi has claimed that the powerbank can charge iPhone SE(2020 edition) 10.5 times and a Mi 10 4.5 times. It can charge iPhone 11 in just 1.45 hours with its 18W fast-charging. Much faster than the traditional 5W apple charging the company provides.
The Mi Power bank is launched at a price of CNY169 (approx 1800 INR) in China. No information about its launch in India or the price is available at the moment. Mi power bank 3 Quick Charge Edition will go on sale on June 18 in China.
